NWFA Announces 2022 NERF Partners in Education
Sponsored Scholarship Winners
ST. LOUIS, Missouri (January 4, 2023) – The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) Education & Research Foundation (NERF) has announced the winners of three 2022 NERF Partners in Education (PIE) Sponsored Scholarships. NWFA Partners in Education contribute to the success of the NWFA’s educational programs. NWFA Partners donate time and materials to the NWFA’s training programs and make financial contributions toward educational advancement.
3M, Delmhorst Instrument Co., and Primatech specifically funded the PIE Sponsored Scholarships, and chose the recipients based on all who applied throughout the entire 2022 school year.
- Alex Hamilton of Grain Design Flooring, sponsored by Delmhorst Instrument Co.
- Scott Jenkins of Jenkins Hardwood Flooring, sponsored by Primatech
- Bill Powell of B Powell Flooring, sponsored by 3M
Each winner will receive a $500 check to further their education in the hardwood flooring industry.
NERF was established to provide industry research and educate future generations of wood flooring professionals. Through NERF, NWFA offers educational opportunities like hands-on training, NWFA University, NWFA Live Edge, and scholarships. Since 2014, NWFA has awarded scholarships totaling more than $65,000.
