Over the course of five days, participants will complete both classes.
The lumber grading short course will be taught by NHLA Instructor Mark Deep and will follow their guidelines. This 3-day short course will cover lumber grading with classroom and local onsite lumber and log yard.
The log grading and scaling 2-day short course will provide training from the National Hardwood Lumber Association and address all grading and scaling logs issues. Training will take place in both the classroom and in a log yard.
Books and materials will be provided.
The class size is limited to 24 students.
